A few answers before you get started.
Do I have to upload every bill manually?
No. Forward the email with the bill to your portfolio’s dedicated address, available in the app. rost receives the document and extracts the details. After review and distribution, your tenant is automatically notified in the app and, if they have push notifications enabled, on their phone.
Can I use rost for just one apartment?
Yes. Start with one property and add more homes to the same portfolio whenever you need to.
How does my tenant get access?
Invite them using the email address linked to their lease. Once they accept, they can see their own home’s information. They sign in with a code sent by email.
Does it work if I rent out rooms separately?
Yes. Set up a shared rental and manage individual room leases. When distributing bills, choose how to split them and review the summary before sending.
What happens when the property is vacant?
You can keep bills and meter readings in the property’s records. Bills for periods without a tenant remain the owner’s costs.
What can each tenant see?
Tenants can access the leases and information linked to their own account. Conversations are private; a new tenant cannot see a previous tenant’s message history.
